Manager Portal: Notification Settings

Created by Ryan Davis, Modified on Wed, Sep 16 at 3:59 PM by Ryan Davis

Overview

The platform sends email notifications to keep you informed about driver safety, compliance, training, and fleet performance. All notifications are off by default — you choose exactly what you want to receive.

Notifications are delivered by email only. You can configure your own notifications from your profile, or an administrator can configure them for any user through User Management. If you have access to multiple fleets, each fleet has its own notification settings.

Driver Notifications

Missing Driver Information

  • Type: On/Off
  • Sends a weekly summary of drivers who are missing critical information — for example, a missing email address, license, or medical card on file. Sent on Wednesdays.

Driver Document Expiration

  • Type: On/Off
  • Alerts you when driver documents are approaching their expiration date, such as CDL licenses, medical cards, or MVR reports. Sent as documents approach expiration.

Driver Coaching Escalations

  • Type: Immediate / Daily / Off
  • Alerts you when a driver reaches the coaching escalation threshold for a behavior type — meaning they've accumulated enough events in a month to trigger formal action. Choose Immediate to be notified as soon as it happens, or Daily to receive one bundled email per day. For more on what escalations mean, see Driver Coaching & Escalations.

Safety Watchlist

  • Type: Immediate / Daily / Off
  • Alerts you when a driver is added to the Safety Watchlist based on your fleet's configured thresholds. Choose Immediate for real-time alerts or Daily for a bundled summary. For more on watchlists, see Safety Watchlist & Compliance Watchlist.

Training Notifications

These notifications only appear if your fleet has driver training enabled. See Account Settings to enable training.

Missing Training

  • Type: On/Off
  • Sends a weekly summary of drivers who don't have monthly training assigned yet. Sent on Wednesdays.

Training Past Due

  • Type: On/Off
  • Sends a daily report of drivers with training assignments that are past their due date.

Vehicle Notifications

Missing Vehicle Information

  • Type: On/Off
  • Sends a weekly summary of vehicles missing critical information, such as VIN, registration, or insurance details. Sent on Wednesdays.

Vehicle Document Expiration

  • Type: On/Off
  • Alerts you when vehicle documents are approaching expiration, such as registration renewals or annual inspection due dates. Sent as documents approach expiration.

DVIR Defects

  • Type: Immediate / Daily / Off
  • Alerts you when a vehicle defect is reported through a pre-trip or post-trip inspection. Choose Immediate to know right away, or Daily for a bundled summary. This option only appears if your fleet has DVIR enabled — see Account Settings.

Compliance Watchlist

  • Type: Immediate / Daily / Off
  • Alerts you when a vehicle is flagged on the Compliance Watchlist due to expired or missing compliance documents. Choose Immediate or Daily depending on how quickly you need to act.

Fleet Notifications

Fleet Performance Report

  • Type: Weekly / Daily / Off
  • Sends a summary of your fleet's overall safety and performance metrics, including driver scores, compliance status, and safety trends. Weekly reports arrive on Monday mornings; daily reports arrive every morning.

Tips

  • Start with Driver Document Expiration and Vehicle Document Expiration — these help you stay ahead of compliance deadlines.
  • Use Immediate for urgent items like DVIR Defects and Safety Watchlist, and Daily for less time-sensitive items like Coaching Escalations.
  • The Fleet Performance Report is a good way to stay on top of trends without logging in every day.
  • If you manage multiple fleets, remember to configure notifications for each fleet separately.
