Overview
The portal includes two watchlist systems that help you stay on top of risk across your fleet:
- Safety Watchlist — Flags drivers based on safety behavior, training status, and scores. You configure the criteria that matter to your fleet.
- Compliance Watchlist — Flags drivers and vehicles with missing or expiring documents. The thresholds are built in and apply to every fleet.
Both appear as summary sections on the Home page and have dedicated full-page views where you can search, filter, and navigate to individual records.
How They Differ
| Safety Watchlist | Compliance Watchlist | |
|---|---|---|
| What it monitors | Driver behavior and safety metrics | Document expiration dates |
| Who it covers | Drivers only | Drivers and vehicles |
| Triggers | Configurable thresholds (scores, events, training, escalations) | Fixed thresholds (missing, expired, expiring within 10/30 days) |
| Settings | Customizable in Account Settings | No configurable settings — thresholds are built in |
| Severity levels | No severity — a driver is either on the list or not | Critical, High, and Normal severity |
| Clearing | Automatic when the condition improves | Automatic when the document is updated |
Safety Watchlist
What Puts a Driver on the Safety Watchlist
A driver is flagged when they meet any of the criteria you've enabled. Each criterion can be turned on or off independently in Account Settings > Safety Watchlist:
| Criterion | What It Means | Configurable? |
|---|---|---|
| Past Due Trainings | Driver has one or more training assignments past their due date | Enable/Disable |
| Coaching Escalations | Driver has an open disciplinary action from repeated safety events | Enable/Disable |
| Low Safety Score | Driver's safety score has fallen below the threshold you set | Enable/Disable + threshold (50–95%) |
| Camera Events | Driver has exceeded the threshold for any single camera event type in the last 30 days | Enable/Disable + threshold count |
| ELD Events | Driver has exceeded the threshold for any single ELD violation type in the current month | Enable/Disable + threshold count |
A driver can be on the watchlist for multiple reasons at the same time. All active reasons are shown on the watchlist page and on the driver's record.
Where You See It
Home page: The Safety Watchlist section shows the total number of drivers currently on the watchlist, with a breakdown by reason. Click it to open the full watchlist page.
Full watchlist page: A searchable, sortable list showing each driver's name, driver ID, safety score (color-coded), reasons for being on the watchlist, and the date they were flagged.
You can:
- Search by driver name or ID
- Filter by reason (for example, show only drivers with a low safety score)
- Sort by name, score, or date
- Click a driver to go to their full record for investigation
Driver record: If a driver is on the Safety Watchlist, an alert banner appears at the top of their record showing all the active reasons.
How Drivers Get Removed
Drivers are automatically removed when the conditions that put them on the watchlist no longer apply:
- Training completed — the "Past Due Trainings" reason clears
- Disciplinary action resolved — the "Coaching Escalations" reason clears
- Safety score improves above the threshold — the "Low Safety Score" reason clears
- Camera or ELD event counts drop below the threshold — those reasons clear
There is no manual remove button. The watchlist always reflects the current state of the data.
Configuring Safety Watchlist Thresholds
Go to Account Settings > Safety Watchlist to:
- Enable or disable each criterion independently
- Set the safety score threshold (what percentage triggers the flag)
- Set camera and ELD event count thresholds
When you change a threshold, the system re-evaluates all active drivers against the new settings. See Account Settings for details.
Compliance Watchlist
What Gets Flagged
The Compliance Watchlist monitors documents for both drivers and vehicles. Unlike the Safety Watchlist, thresholds are built in and not configurable.

Severity Levels
Each driver or vehicle is assigned the highest severity from their issues:
- Critical — Missing or expired documents. Needs immediate action.
- High — Documents expiring within 10 days. Needs urgent attention.
- Normal — Documents expiring within 30 days. Time to plan ahead.
Where You See It
Home page: The Compliance Issues section shows counts for drivers and vehicles, broken down by severity (Critical, High, Normal). Click the info icon for a breakdown by issue type. Click the section to open the full compliance page.
Full compliance page: Two tabs — Drivers and Vehicles — each with a searchable, sortable list showing the driver name or vehicle unit number, severity, and a list of specific issues.
You can:
- Switch tabs to view driver issues or vehicle issues
- Search by name, driver ID, or unit number
- Filter by severity level
- Sort by name or severity
- Click a record to go to the detail page where you can update the relevant documents
How Issues Clear
Issues clear automatically when the underlying document is updated:
- Upload or update a license — license-related issues disappear
- Update a registration renewal date — registration issues clear
- Add an annual inspection date — inspection issues clear
Changes take effect the next time you load the compliance page.
Taking Action on Compliance Issues
The compliance page shows you what needs attention. To resolve an issue:
- Click the driver or vehicle name to open their record
- Go to the relevant section (for example, Driver Files for license and medical card)
- Update the document dates or upload new files
- The issue clears from the compliance page
Notifications
You can receive email notifications when drivers or vehicles are flagged:
- Safety Watchlist alerts — Configurable as Immediate or Daily in your notification settings
- Compliance Watchlist alerts — Configurable as Immediate or Daily in your notification settings
- Document expiration alerts — Separate setting for proactive warnings before documents expire
See Notification Settings for how to configure these.
